  1. There is a little river flowing to the East under Lisheenaclara bridge. In Summer if that river sounds in the East it is the sign of good weather and if it sounds in the West it is a sign of rain.
    If a cat sits at the fire and turns his back to it, it is a sign of rain.
    If a cat is scraping things around the house it is the sign of wind.
    If the sky looks red it is the sign of wind also.
    If the rays of the sun look like Moses' horns it is a sign of rain.
    When the wind is blowing from the South-west it is a sign of rain
    If the crickets leave the chimney corner and go out in the air it is a sign of (rain) fine weather.
