Did you ever see a half a pigs head with two eyes?

These are riddles that my mother gave me, Mrs. McDonnell Ballygar Co. Galway.
Did you ever see a half a pig's head with two eyes? With your own two. What has no wings but can fly? Dust.
As round as an apple, as deep as a cup, and all the King's men could not pull it up? A well.
Over the fire and under the fire and never touches the fire? A cake in an oven. Why do you go up the stairs to bed? Because the bed would not come down to you.
What's as big as half the moon? The other half. A little white and round house and it is full of meat, and has no doors nor windows to let you in to eat. An egg.
As round as an apple, as flat as a pan, one side a man, and the other side a woman. A penny. As white as snow, as black as tar, and hops on the road like a marble. A magpie.
Spell bacon, ham and rashers, in three letters? A pig.
What has holes and yet holds water? A sponge. Black and white and read all over. A news paper.
