In penal times under British domination it was not allowed that any teacher could teach pupils and therefore the pupils were taught in barns and in remote places such as in mountains and under hedges at that time £5 would be given by an English government for a teachers head. if a pupil thought he would be able for his master he would challenge him and if he beat his master he would become another teacher and if he was defeated he would return back to school again. the parents of the children used feed the master
