Long ago old women called "egg women" used go around gathering eggs from the people with a "cliabh" or hamper .They used have old sticks and according as they used gather every hundred eggs they used put a notch in the stick because they had no education . Sometimes the old women would give money and when they would not have the money they would give cups , and saucers and plates. They used say that the eggs money was very lucky .If they bought a horse or a cow with the egg money they used
