  1. Samuel Hussey used not go round collecting the rent. He had offices in some places; he had one at Bally McDonnell, one at Edenburn and one at Denny Street in Tralee. He appointed a special day at the end of each six months for each of these offices at which the tenants used to appear with their rents. His agent Michael Callaghan used have to warn the people of these days. He was also known as a "rent warner".
    Colonel Blenner Hasset evicted fourteen familiers out of Rath View. Three of the evicted families were Healys, Riordans and O'Connors. The Healys went to friends in Firies, the O'Connors to Morriartys' Cross and the Riordans to River Ville where they got a piece of land on which to build a house, from captain Spring.
    Coffeys farm in Glounbawn was divided about twenty three years ago, between two brothers Dan and Patrick when Dan got married. They are still living on it. The landlord was Samuel Hussey and the farm
