    that her husband would be in for his dinner. She thought of a plan. She went out and picked up a pot of garden stones. She filled the pot with (?) water. After a time the water began to boil and great clouds of smoke arose from it. The hungry man came in for dinner. She gave the excuse that they had not yet boiled. At last she forgot and took the lid off the pot and to her surprise the pot was full of boiled potatoes.
