  1. In olden times, it was very hard to find a cure for an ailment. But now there is no trouble finding a cure for an ailment.
    Holy wells are very often visited by people for sore eyes and also for sore faces. If you have belief in the water of a holy well your ailment will be cured.
    I often saw my mother using breadsoda for a toothache. I think it is a very good remedy for it People should always get breadsoda for a toothache because it is a very bad pain to have.
    Boiling water is a very good cure for a pain in the stomach. Long ago many old people used that remedy.
    Sometimes people find it very hard to get a cure for chilblains. A girl
    went to an old man for a remedy for chilblains, and he told her to get an old knife and heat it in the
