  1. Some people believe in fairies but there are no such things nowadays. Long ago they were there without a doubt. The time the Drominidy wood was cutting down that's about twenty nine years ago. the caretakers always stayed there in a little hut to mind the timber. They also had a little dog and one night about one o'clock the dog was barking in to be left in. One of them opened the door for him but as he did a funeral passed. But every night while it was cutting down crying was heard there.
    One night as a party of men were going to a ball in a house in Cnoc Sgeach they say a big ball of light near Carrigeens Bridge. At first they thought it was another party going to
