    the ball but when they were nearly in to it, it scattered out in 12 or 13 different lights and went in different directions.
    About dusk another evening a man named Daniel Dempsey (RIP) went down to his bog for a bag of turf. On looking towards Carrigbawn he saw the head-lights of a lorry coming down the bogs toward him. He knew it was a fairy light and started off home and left turf bag and all behind him.
    Near Derrigrea a place east of the village of Drimoleague three people were killed near the same spot, Mahoney, Donovan, and Hurley. Every night before they were killed a foxy woman walked along that road.
