  1. A Hidden Treasure
    There is supposed to be a hidden treasure in a fort that belongs to James McCabe of Carnagh. It is said that it was placed there by the Danes. They were hunted by some of the Irish and they had to hide it there for safety.
    The treasure is supposed to be a valuable vessel and worth about £500. About twelve years ago a man named Hugh Doherty looked for it but he did not succeed in getting it. He dug a hole about eight feet in depth
