    There are a great many forts in this school district. The chief ones are Stephen Brady's fort which is situated in Dundevan. There is also another fort in Hugh Smith's farm in Lisnatunive and another one in Eddie Briody's land in the same townland. In Mrs. Lee's farm in the townland of Cloncovid there is also another fort, and these four forts are within view of one another.
    They are all circular in shape and surrounded by a lot of trees with an entrance in the side
