    Local marriages occurs in our locality generally before Lent and Advent. May is considered an unlucky month for getting married. Friday is also considered an unlucky day for getting married. In some cases matches are made and in more cases there is no matching. Generally money is given as a fortune but seldom stock or goods are given.
