  1. There are two holy wells in this district one in Carnagh and the other in Glasscarrick. All the people visit these wells on St Patrick's Day and they go round the well praying.
    There is a big flat stone at each well and a track of St. Patricks knee in them and the people fill these holes with the water and washes the part effected with the warts and says some prayers and this is the cure of the warts.
    It is said if you boil the water out of St. Patricks well it will never boil.
