    There was once a man and he had turnips growing in a field at the side of the road. They were growing very good and promised to be a good crop. One day the owner was looking over the ditch at them and another man joined them. The other man said "They are a very good crop God bless them." The owner said "they are gone beyond the stage of God bless them now. The turnips never grew another bit after that.
    If a person put a small skillet in their neighbours yard and their neighbours used it to boil something in it, they would have the product of whatever was boiled in the skillet.
