    a scissors, a measuring tape and needles of all sizes.
    For young boys shirts are made in the home but they are not usually made for men and big boys. A cloth often used is Tobralco.
    Socks and stockings are very often knit in the home. There is only one knitting machine in the district and the owner gets a lot of work to do by knitting socks, stockings and jumpers for men, women and children. There is but one or two spinning wheels in the district but the owners spin for their own necessities only.
    At the death of a near relative people dress in black or at least, as much of it as they can but they do not bother when the person who is dead is not a near relative.
