  1. St. Conlan's Well is situated about four miles outside Nenagh. A saint named Conlan lived out there one time and that is how it got it's name.
    One time a horse was foaled on the very brink of the well and the people looked upon it as a miracle because it did not fall in and drown. St. John's Well is situated about one mile outside Nenagh. There is an old belief that whoever drinks from the well will never be sick. There is a stone out there which bears Saint John's footprint.
