Holmes, Tolers,
Finches, Dunalleys,
Gayson's Baylys.
Holmes are the only landlords who came into their land lawfully. Before Cromwell came to Ireland they bought the town of Nenagh:- from Scott's mill to Tyone and from Riverston to Springfort. They are the oldest landlords in the district. All the other landlords in the district got their lands from Cromwell.
Mr. Gayson was blind but every morning at ten o'clock he went out riding with his groom. He had a black and white horse and it was fifteen and a half(continues on next page)
