St. Patrick's Day. Black is worn on the death of a relative and crepe armlets of black are also worn. Tailors will not work on Mondays and will not take back clothes to be remodled.
The following is a verse connected with tailors:-
"Four and twenty tailors went to kill a snail,
The best man among them dare not touch her tail
She put out her horns like a keloe cow
    Run tailors run,
or she'll kill you all just now."
