  1. There was once a man named McNulty living in Coillmore. One day he was very drunk coming from Ballina. As he was passing by a hill he said "all the fairies in the world would not beat me".
    About a week after he was coming from Ballina but this time he was sober. As he was passing the same hill the fairies came out and beat him badly. Soon after he died from the wounds.
