  1. This is the way to play The Fox and the Hen. A number of children stand in a row. The first person standing in the row is the hen. Another person should be standing in front of them to be the Fox. The hen says to the fox :
Hen : What are you looking for?
    Fox : A needle.
Hen : What do you want the needle for?
Fox : To sew my bag.
Hen : What do you want to sew your bag for?
    Fox : To bring turf.
Hen : What do you want to bring turf for?
Fox : To light my fire.
Hen : What do you want to light the fire for?
    Fox : To boil water.
Hen : What do you want to boil water for?
Fox : To scald all your chickens.
The fox tries to catch one of the chickens and the first person caught is the hen the next time.
