    is called a stable. Horses eat hay and straw and these are called fodder.
    Horses need "clippings" in the spring and they have also to be shod.
    When we are feeding hens we call "Tuk! Tuk!" and for ducks we call "wheet! wheet!" and geese we call "Leg! Leg!" We call "Pea! Pea!" for turkeys.
    When we are setting eggs we usually set thirteen and we put the date on them to remember when we set them.

  2. There are no tailors in this district now but there were sometime ago. A man named John Brown used to go around the houses making suits of clothes. He did not stock any cloth.
