After a while Rickerd died, and he went up to heaven, and tapped at the door and St. Peter said '' who is there?'' and Rickerd said ''Rickerd na bPoca from Bleak River, will you let me in?'' St. Peter said ''you had too much to do with the devil while you were on earth, and I could not let you in!''
Rickerd started off to hell. When he arrived there, he tapped at the door, and a little devil came out, and said ''who is there'', and the answer was ''Rickerd na bPoca'' from Black River, will you let me in?'' The little devil said ''I must ask the big devil.'' He asked him, and the big devil said if we let him in he will turn hell up side-down, and let all that are in it out, because I had too much to do with him while he was on earth.
