  1. The Landlord
    12 - 7 -'38
The landlord of my district was Canon Berry. Some landlords were natives of the district and some of them were migrants. They were looked upon as being cruel rulers.
Evictions were carried in the district. The evicted people went into towns and had to look for lodgings. Sometimes farms were sub-divided between families and between people who got married. Tithes were never collected in the district.

Material obtained from my father and mother.
    Correction - look for lodgings.
