There is a cross of St. Brendans in our parish near St Brendan's church where there were monks long ago.
There are plenty of ancient crosses to be found in the church yard.
There are ornamented stones in the parish, there are also carved designs.
It is said that a cat jumped from the top of the church and left its footprints in a stone outside the church door although it was quite hard.
St Brendan is supposed to be buried there. The stone is erected to show where St Brendan is buried. There are cairns of stones in memory of the dead.
