  2. There are a few fairy forts around here. There is one in Philip McGowan's land. Tommy Carroll and Bob Reilly were coming home from a dance one night, and it was all lit up, and they went up by it and they said the saw a fairy riding a horse. Another night a man was coming through it and the tail of his coat was plucked. He had a pack of cards in his pocket and he threw them out, and next morning he went back to see would he get them. He got them packed up and a stone on top of them. I never saw them but
