    at night. They heard something snoring beside them. One of them wanted to keep on cutting the tree. Accordingly as they were cutting the stick the snoring got worst till at length they had to run away. The snoring was still after them till they got to the nearest house. When they got into the house the snoring stopped for that night. The men went back next morning and brought the tree from there and all the people in the townland were haunted when going on their celidhe and coming home.
