    The story of a Witch.
In my district there are no local stories told about Giants or Warriors who lived in olden times but one is told about a witch named Chettise who lived in a little house on the shores of Garradice lake.
She was supposed to take butter from the neighboring farmers by her witchcraft. One morning a man named Reilly was hunting and he happened to see her milking one of his cows he had a hound with him and as soon as she saw him coming she turned into a hare. The house followed her and caught her and wounded her as she was jumping in on her own window. After this she died.
