    beliefs with regards to the weather when a ring encircles the moon or when the moon appears dim it is a sign of rain. The farther out the ring is from the moon the nearer the storm. When the clouds are dark or a great many of them in the sky it is also a sign of rain when a rainbow is visible in the sky it's also a sign of rain When the wind is from the North it is a sign of good weather. When the wind is from the South its a sign of rain
