    These shoes were very warm and they were above their ankles. The people used also have special water for washing their feet at night. They would never wash their feet in dirty water or in any water that was inside before the night. The people would never keep the feet water inside, because the old people say that the fairies would be in the house if they did. The old people also say that you should never throw away the dirty water until the clean water comes in first.
    There was a lot of shoemakers in this district long ago. There were different kinds of shoemakers. There was the bróg makers and the clog makers and the shoemakers. The people used make the leather themselves sometimes but it was not properly tanned. Long ago there was
