Amach ins an lá bhí duine ag déanamh níos fearr ná a chéile. Bhuail an tsainnt é, agus dubhairt sé leis an bhfear eile "Deineadh gach aoinne do féin as so amach." Do fhreagair an bacach eile-"Geallamhaint is cailleamhaint atá agatsa a Sheáin, agus is mairg a bheadh id'lúib. An té a bheidh beidh srathar na haindise air."
