  1. Long ago a dwarf lived in Lios na hAdairce and every night a piper named Darby Dunne used to come to his house and sit up on the chimney playing.
    The dwarf did not like music, or noise and he wanted the piper to go away and the piper would not, so one day the dwarf thought of a plan and, when the piper came, the dwarf went out and he said that his music was very nice and to play again and the piper played and played until he was tired
