    2. When the soot falls it is a sign of rain.
    3. When the swallows fly low it is a sure sign of rain, and when they fly high it is a sign of good weather.
    4. When wild geese fly hight it is a sign of bad weather.
    5. When cats turn their backs to the fire it is a sure sign of rain.
    6. When dogs eat grass it is another bad sign.
    7. The farm animals approach the houses when rain is coming, and some of them stand under bushes, such as sheep and lambs, and the young calves.
