  1. Once upon a time there was an old man and his wife Seánín and Siobáinín were their names. They were very poor, and the old man used to work on the road.
    He had a pig fattening for the fair, and one night when he came home Siobhaínín had choked the pig. He cleaned the pig, and salted it.
    About a week later, when he was going to work, he told her to put a piece of meat down with a bit of cabbage.
    When he came home he asked did she put down the meet and she said she did. "I put a
