  1. Potatoes are grown on our farm. We sow an acre of potatoes each year. The amount does not ever vary.
    My father prepares the ground. The ground is manured if it is for ridges but if it for drills it is not manured. Potatoes are sometimes sown in ridges and are sometimes sown in drills. Some poeple plough the land and others turn it with a spade. Wodden ploughs were used long ago but not nowadays. Spades are always bought in a shop.
    Some people buy the potatoes, and others change the potatoes between one another. It is mostly always the
