The Leipreachán is said to inhabit the fairy forts, for my part I don't believe they are there at all, but I have heard the old people say, that about 50 years a man by the name of Ned Hanlon, from Blennerville, was the caretaker of Harris's land in Curragrague and he was working in one of the fields near where Ashe's live now, and came across a small man with a red cap and a purse of gold hanging around his shoulders. At the time the Leipreachán was mending shoes. Hanlon saw this little man up ontop of the top ditch at Ashe's side Ned Hanlon
