Those grave yards in this parish are very well kept and are very old.
The protestants have a body of men to keep up their grave yards known as the church body.
There is a protestant church in Bally McElligott and Bally Seedy graveyard and the catholics are buried there also.
O'Brennan is a very old grave-yard. It contains no ruins of either monastery or Church. There is a belief or superstition which always proves true that three funerals go to O'Brennan within a space of three days of one another.
Nohoval is also [?] grave-yeard. There is a ruin of an old Church in this one. there are no protestants buried either in O'Brennans or Nohoval.
