    ten families and the number of people is 50, in the district. Moriarty is the most common name. There are five houses with iron roofs, four with thatch and one with slate on the district.
    There is only one old person residing here. She is 70 yrs, but is an invalid. Her name is Mrs Leahy Killeen Gortatlea. There did over twenty people emigrate to America and other countries.
    Houses were more numerous in olden times, there was about fifteen houses in the district. The ruins of four of them are to be seen and one is used as a cowhouse
