  1. I live in the townland of Gerah. It is divided into eight farms now. The owners of these farms are not the descendants of those who owned them long ago. These were the people who owned them long ago, namely, Caseys, Sweeneys, Dwyers, Mountains and Moriarty's. The Caseys and the Sweeney's lived in our own farm and the ruins of where they lived are to be seen up until the present day. To the west of the ruin there is a big stone the shape of a
