    Come all you royal gentlemen

    The following verses were composed in honour of the Sneem and Tahilla boys who won a great football match some years ago.
    Come all you royal gentlemen
    And peasantry likewise
    Give ear and pay atttention
    Concerning the Sneem and Tahilla boys
    From the Barony of Glenarough
    A challenge we did receive
    It being to David Sheehan
    Commander of the field
    He says! cheer up my heroes
    Don't be the least dismayed
    For we want no man to play them
    But the boys around the
