The stones in this wall were small gathered on the strand.
Before the Road from Rush to Skerries was made the people got from one town to another by path. The path lead over two high hills called Balley-Kea and Curkeen. There is a stream of water called the "Brook" the way the people got across was by large stones.
On the road between Rush and Skerries there is a high hill called Carnhill. On the top of this hill there was a grave of some very old King or Queen. This grave has disappeared but the hill is still there and it is called Carnhill.
