"honeymoon". On the wedding day the flitten is brought to the grooms house.
A story is told of a man who married into a place and when he was going to in he brought a cow and a bed tick with him. When he was about six months there he fought with his wife and went away. Before he went he tied the bed tick on the cows back and then started. When he was away for two months he went with the cow, bed tick and a little calf, so he had more with him coming back than he had going away.
