    Longford. Men dug out this iron ore, put it on trucks and ran it on the rails which were on the pass.
    When they got it as far as the road they brought it to Ballywillam where it was put on the train and sent to Wales to be manufactured. These rails are still under the grass that is growing there.
    In a field that belongs to Mrs Harten, Carnagh there is a hill called the Crochán, which means the small hill.
