    driving about on their honeymoon in cars around the local towns.
    When at home in their houses there is a big banquet or spree held. At night fall when all is silent and calm the clamour of the straw men or "band-beggars" is heard approaching the wedding house. These men are dressed in strange attire with tall hats made of straw.
    The first thing they do is give three cheers for the bride and groom. When they get either money or drink whatever they like to take.
