    There is an old story told in connected with Mrs. Lees fort that Pat Beaty one night when he was going by the fort he saw a band of fairies playing football and the ball came out on the road and they told him to kick it back again.
    They Dedannans have supposes to have built these forts to protect themselves from the Danes.
    There is an animal some-what like a cat or a hare often seen in the neighbourhood of Mrs Lees fort.
