The first Monday of the New Year is called Hansel Monday. You should not pay out any money on that day or you will be doing so all year. If possible try and get in money on that day and you will get it all year
Good Friday: (1) Crops planted on this day are supposed to be good.
(2) It is unlucky to cut nails or hair on this day
(3) Eggs laid on this day are supposed to keep away sickness - during the year - from anyone who eats them.(continues on next page)
