    Long ago the people used wooden ploughs but they are not used now. There are none left.
    In Summer the potatoes are sprayed twice to prevent the blight from coming on them. Big farmers use horses for the purpose but the farmers here have small machines. They are dug in Autumn with the plough but most of the farmers use spades.
    My father employs a man to pick the potatoes Then they are stored in pits.
    The big ones are put into heaps for themselves and the small ones are put into other
