  1. During the Penal times the people of my district were very poor and not able to pay their rent so that they were put out of their lands and left to die on the side of the road.
    When the people died their bodies were left to feed the birds of the air. There were no coffins as there are now and there was no place to put the corpses, because man died each day.
    At this time the Priests had a very hard time for they were always being pursued by the soldiers.
