  1. When St. Patrick came to this parish to preach the true Faith to the people he blessed a good many Wells which are known as St. Patrick's Wells.
    There is one of these Wells in Ballinamore. It is situated in the middle of a big field in a big rock under the shade of an old twisted ash tree. The tree is growing on a little mound and is full of rabbit burrows.
    The Well itself is very small with no stream running in or out of it,
