  1. About twelve years ago in the month of January there arose a great storm. This storm began to rise at night fall, and all night the storm continued to rage growing stronger and stronger.
    At last it became so strong that the people arose from their beds with fear, and remaind up from about four o'clock.
    Towards morning the storm continued as fiercely as ever and the people were out trying to tie down stacks of oats and hay and they were flying away with
