    Thistles grow only in good land. The thislte was brought to Ireland from France by a man named "Taylor Clove". Once there was a man in Toughnane named Paddy O'Hara who had rheumatism. He ate the thorns of a thistle and was cured.
    Alastrums
    Alastrums grows only in wet bad land. They are used as a cure for head-aches. First the shape of a cross is made with two of the stems which are tied around the patient's head and
